Eric Bellis, Clinical Intern
My name is Eric Bellis, I am a clinical intern completing my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Bellevue University, currently seeing clients at An Enduring Love under the supervision of Rob Colbert.
My path to counseling is grounded in both scientific and humanistic foundations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University. I also have 4 years of experience in mental health, including inpatient behaviorial health and as a
crisis counselor for Colorado Crisis Services, where I’ve supported individuals experiencing a wide variety of challenges. Part of my transition from science to mental health includes a certification as an addiction recovery and integration coach.
I work with a variety of clients including adults facing major life transitions, issues around identity, purpose, and emotional regulation. My clients are often seeking greater depth, connection, and authenticity in their lives. I am also passionate about working with clients navigating relationships with psychoactive substances—including exploration, recreation, misuse, and recovery.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply grounded in an existential-humanistic philosophy. I integrate person-centered, gestalt, existential, and mindfulness-based therapies while drawing on other approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a space
where clients are empowered to connect with their inner resources and live more freely and fully.
Real guidance, real strategies, and real connection in a non-judgmental space. Schedule your free consultation with Eric here.
